Tome does not know this, but I wore my HOTFB all day long yesterday. Yup, even to work. Now, it seems that she has a
magical mailbox, but I have this amazing helm. It is truly infused with supernatural powers. Not only did receive the fabulous sculpture of Mrs. Whitworth, but
Shoryl of Tiny WoW Guild met up with me to give me a tiny shale spider! It's adorable! Now, here is where the day takes a twist. I was hunkered into getting Kellda's 3000 Valor Points for Wrathion (yes, that kid totally charmed me), and Heartichoke was working on a surprise for a buddy, when CD Rogue comes in the room telling me not good health news. He's fine, but it entailed a trip to the emergency room, CAT scan, MRI, and a long night of him worrying and me trying to get comfortable on a half-bench in his room. The place was empty except for some poor family whose baby must have been very sick, and cried for the hours we were there. It was all I could do not to go in there and try to help -- but it's hard to know if young parents want it or not. I know that cry, and that cry of a sick baby/child is not great. But after all the tests, poking, and prodding, he's fine (it is
something, but not a stroke). Now we could say that's awful! Boo! And though it was not fun, it was not awful. I credit the HOTFB for its continuing protection and service.
That and good health insurance.

Thank you Shoryl! |
Keep that HOTFB on Matty! It's powers are very strong! Shoryl's present is lovely! I keep running around that Isle trying to get pets to give away and no luck. Maybe I'd better put the HOTFB on for mojo!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear CD Rogue is okay. Emergency room trips are exhausting even when there's a good outcome. See you later!
I agree. I'm glad to hear CD rogue only had a short trip there as I've had my fair share of ER trips. Everyone seems to have that special item of awesomeness - glad to see you've found yours.
ReplyDeleteThat's true, they said it might be until 3AM, not 1AM like it was! Lots of tests in a short time, and we're definitely grateful for the health insurance. The HOTFB shall be kept in a sacred location until otherwise called upon!
