Solstice Advent Blog Challenge

Okay, so you know how I mentioned the fall/winter funk…here is the idea:
Twenty-One Days, starting today, December 1, of things in Azeroth of Light Screenshots, from now until December 21. This works for both sides of the equator, seeing how we're getting darker days in the North, the South is getting lighter. The only hitch I will add is you have to add a caption or haiku to your screenshot.

The topic/theme is light, and all its incarnations.

The most mundane of surroundings are improved with light...

OH, and this too! Go to Akabeko's site, Red Cow Rise:

  1. Challenge accepted :D I'll miss a few days later when I go to visit the family but I can't resist participating anyhow. Hopefully it'll help with my funk too. I love this idea.

  2. I will try, but this month is a nasty one so I'll probably not get 21 days in!

    1. Much like Christmas tree ornaments, I plan on re-using a lot of shots I've taken in the past. And Tome, I completely understand this time of year - it's nuts. I was telling CD Rogue no matter how "laid back" the Matty-shack is there is still this 'production' expectation of women to make the holidays memorable and fabulous. Those pine needles can sure sting, that's for sure!

  3. Hi, Matty! Great idea for a challenge! It gets dark early here north, think the sun set 15:30 :/
I'll join the challenge but I might not be able to post every day because I'm going away on holiday. And, do I have to come up with my own captions or can I use quotes?

  7. I am too slow and I won't have time but there might be a massive catchup later! I see now why you did this - you need more light to chase away those blues!

  8. o.O if I had seen this earlier!! I will see if I have any screenies with a light theme and then continue from here on! They don't have to be current screenies do they - can be old?
