Drabble: Cat Fight.

Mrs. Whitworth was disgusted by the lack of discipline, organization, and preparedness of the priest. She filed her claws on the ribcage of a plump vole. This resulted in the logical outcome of the vole’s death and well-groomed paws. Just as she wanted. But this priest! Mrs. W was itching for a fight—a real one. Not the one-sided blood-lettings of rodents versus felines. A fight she could sink her teeth into and of course ultimately win. That girl moved much too slow for her tastes. “Stupid moony girls! Let’s go! The air is chilled and the moon is full!”

October is one of my favorite months, in fact, may be my favorite: it runs a pretty tight race with August and about a day or two out of February. I swear, Mrs. Whitworth put the idea in my head that Zeptepi really needs to get in the game and start doing pet battles. That silly shaman has been sucking up what little oxygen I have for play time, and the 'trying to stay calm, level, and gear for raiding' panic already set in after only a few days. I had a very dear friend talk me down from the ledge yesterday. To be fair, it was only one story off the ground, and if I had jumped, probably would have only twisted an ankle.

But yes...of all the pets who want to get in the ring and scratch a few eyeballs...Mrs. W is all hopped up on catnip and has been practicing her tail-lashings and kitty-litter toss. Now if I can only find time for Zep to figure all this out.

  1. Go Mrs Whitworth, I'm sure she'll claw and scratch her way to the top.

October is my favourite month, I love the colour of the trees and the way the air seems to smell of apples, mist and burning oak. Although April might be a close runner up. There is something about spring and autumn which always appeals, new life being born and old life dying.

  2. She was flushed with several early victories, but then had her tail handed to her by Farmer MacDonald's Mystical Chicken of Doom, but she's trained up and ready to go again! It's grand fun! The perfect thing to do while pretending to watch TV with loved ones. Giving her the night off to lick her wounds and sharpen her claws.

I would like April too, but I think I would like to try it in Paris....we here in the Pac Northwest enjoy an elongated spring, like...through July! Happy October 1st tomorrow!

  3. Hehe, nice to see Mrs W having a grand old time with battling. It's not quite the post I had envisioned but being such a pet battle enthusiast, I should have known better. :P

    1. I cannot think of any other way to approach this other than in a narrative!

  4. You go Mrs Whitworth! This is her time of year! I've been leveling my battle pets with the same intensity that you raiders are leveling. I stopped to ask myself why and I realized it's just because there are so many beautiful level 24 pets in Pandaria and I'm frustrated I can't tame them, lol. I guess we're all on a mission, just different ones!

    1. I thought this through and either Momokawa or Zep is going to stay behind and get a few contenders trained up and then go the pets in Pandara...I want so many now too! Argh!!!! And I not sure I xm even on a raid team now; everything is up in the air, and GM is cleaning house. Starting to feel like tile grout! It's all good though: however things work out this is by far such a wonderful journey.
