Ceniza, sorry to disappoint you, but this book lies. It is all about the damage. Maybe that career in hunting is not such a bad idea...

Are you there, RNG? It's me, Ceniza...
Ceniza researches. Heavens, does that girl research. That is the nature of mages. Can't help themselves: style manuals, index cards, cross-references and footnotes, poor things. It's all about the source materials. As she's looking for Arcane tomes around Dalaran, she came across this: So You Think You Can Cast: Frequently Asked Questions from First-Time Mages (author unknown, but by the pedantic tone, probably Jaina....)

LOL! A career in arcane refreshment? What was this author smoking is what I want to know. Jaina? Was it you? Come on, it's just between the three of us.
ReplyDeleteThat arcane refreshment career probably requires a hair net, and as they say in Office Space, minimum amount if flair. It is well understood the relationship between mages and herbs, just sayin'
DeleteYou know I totally ignored the books taht weren't part of the achievement, but now I wish i had read them!
ReplyDeleteWell, this book isn't part of the achievement, but a teaser book--there's another one about an orc's "to do" list that's pretty funny too. That's the cool thing about the 'net - I'm sure when you have some downtime (HAHAHAHA--like never) you can look up the books on line and see what they say. The only one I found is pretty mage-y so far. Go figure. Somehow--when I pick up a book and open it, I must read it. That would be my dream job: writing those books for Blizzard!
