OLRG: Rescue from the Cold Edition

Poor little Grummle, getting his trail mix frozen...
And by cold, I mean head cold. I still feel a little bit punk: like I said, I never get sick enough to make it 'count,' just enough to be off my A-game. Temperature wise, tt's actually not that bad here now, and I think it's warmed up a bit in the middle of the nation, too. Apparently in Australia there are a bunch of Orcs and Tauren sitting on their fannies with no pants on. While I pass the mental eye soap, I really look forward to seeing you all and anyone who wants to join the Old Ladies Raiding Guild this afternoon, 4PM Pacific:

The Docket:
Okay - yes, I admit, though thoroughly burnt from Firelands, I would like to try to get the staff and the Only the Penitent achievement. Remember: put your pets away long before we get there, including warlocks', hunters', and mages' pets, and if Neo is there I'll let him call it out. I am going to watch the video Tome link a few posts ago again, too:

Then after that I have no agenda for today: it's up to all of you.

Do you want to try some of the first LFRs on the new expansion? Do you want to go to Sunwell? Want to go back to Dragonsoul and see what we can scrounge up some more achievements? Whatever you would like to do is fine with me. I just want that Grummle to be okay. (No, that's a lie, they bug the snot out of me.)

OLRG: Bastion of Twilight, yo

Bring a cleaver. Bring an ax. Bring a machete. But don't look back.
This Saturday, November 16th is Bastion of Twilight. Come one, come all: I'll be on at 2:30PM-ish but raid doesn't need to start until 4PM Pacific Time. Just let me know what works for you: remember our creed -- we kick ass so others don't have to. Or something like that.

Bastion of Twilight is in Twilight Highlands:
The Bastion of Twilight is a Tier 11 raid dungeon located in the southwestern part of the Twilight Highlands, high in the sky. It serves as the main base of operation for the Twilight Hammer. The leader of the cult, Cho'gall himself, is the last boss encounter in this raid, but players that have defeated Cho'gall on heroic can unlock Sinestra.

Old Ladies Raiding Guild (WiggleWiggleWiggle)

Gotta have a young ass to do that...

You know, I really miss JD, of the Amateur Azerothian. He had a way of organizing events in Azeroth that were inclusive, fun, and well-thought out. I cannot guarantee any of that, but I shall endeavor to do my best:

So, by popular demand - here it is - The Old Ladies Raiding Guild.

Who can come along?
Anyone who has my battletag: mattyshaman#1838, and is over age 21. Call me ageist, I dare you.

Where shall we go?
As far back as Cataclysm Raids to present-time Garrosh

What shall we do?
Flex (and normals, too)

When shall we go?
I would love either a Friday early evening, Saturday afternoon/evening, or Sunday morning time. I am on the Pacific Coast. so that's server time zone. I need to hear from folks to voice their preferences before anything is set in stone. Thinking two hours, we get done what we done, and move on with our lives. How's that sound?

Requirements?
Vent? Mumble? Not sure. If it becomes an issue, I'll set up a Vent account of our own.
Being a lady? No, not required. You just have to agree to the raiding team's name. Have no issue with that, come along!

Hero's Call Board: Okay blogger friends, if you have an alt tank, dps, or healer, please come along!

First night out: Saturday, October 26th, 4PM Server Time (I am flexible - just putting a target out there)

Gear rolls: if you want it for mog, speak up.

We shall wipe often, we shall spend our retirement on repair bills, and we shall have fun. Good vision, hand-eye coordination, and epic skills not required.
