Powerful mojo.

Thanks, to the blog Manalicious for her post on Friday, which led me to this blog: http://jadedalt.wordpress.com/

Now, if I can only figure out how she got those wonderful cookie cutters:

Maybe there's a tinsmith in Goldshire who can help me out.

Yes: apparently I have some time on my hands this morning. Elves are sleeping, bear cubs laid out, and the ogres snoring away. But before I get my next cup of coffee, just wanted to say: To my friends in the waking world and in Azeroth - peace to you and yours, be light of heart, full of hope, and thank you for the love and kindness of your friendships.

And please tell me where to get those cookie cutters.

  1. It's not actually a special cookie cutter at all. =)

How-To Draenei Cookies: Take a regular cookie cutter in the shape of a person. Roll out your gingerbread cookie dough of choice and cut a little person. Use a butter knife to cut out a little triangle from each foot. This will be the "hoof."

Take a small amount of dough and roll/shape it with your hands to form horns. Attach to head in the appropriate place and smooth so that it is attached more or less seamlessly. If there's still a seam, there's a good chance that the horns will fall off after. Depending on how much your dough tends to puff up, adjust horn size accordingly.

Most of the "draenei-ness" of these comes from the icing/drawings on them, really. It's just horns and hooves and otherwise pretty simple. Good luck if you make them! :)

  2. Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! Knowing my cooking style I may have to get a sheetcake sized pan and mortar the horns on with frosting. (I tend to work BIG!) Thank you for taking pity on my poor stupidity for not even thinking about a reconfiguring of a standard gingerbread man cutter. But your spark, of course, leads me to think of the things I can do with other cookie cutters - now the possibilities are endless!
