A few weeks ago, I noticed logging onto some characters seemed to be more irksome than others, it dawned on me that there were a few who never, ever seemed to be a chore to play. My question is, (and yes, you need to have more than one character over level 1) which of your characters do you always look forward to "seeing?" But the real question is why? Perhaps think of this from a role playing perspective, that this character has a personality, play style and demeanor that inevitably just works. I'd love to meet them!

Hmm... I've never really thought about it but it's a really cool question. I'm going to have to reflect on that for a bit.
ReplyDeleteLet me know when you post something - can't wait to read it!
DeleteWell... considering that I have more hunters than I can shake a stick at...and right behind the hunters, is my paladins...almost all named either zwingli or caligan. :) there is one Belf Paladin on Moon Guard that I've sorely neglected. The thing is, he was a lot of fun to play. I could really get into the /hairflip attitude of the character. I also like to think of my human paladin, caligan, as an Elunadin! Though, the more canonical lore folks frown upon the thought. :)

Oh those canonical curmudgeons! Seriously! Lighten up people! I think it would be awesome to have a Nelf paladin or a Draenei (don't hate)....warlock.
DeleteFun to play - bet I am going to hear that a lot. But maybe analyzing why something is fun is like pulling the wings off of a butterfly - just shouldn't be done.
Don't even have to ponder this one, it's Cat. I think I like her personality, she's much nicer than I am. Not to mention flight form, aquatic form, cat form and bear form. I mean what else could you need.
ReplyDeleteNext up are Warlocks, I have many but Sasche, Cimmeria and Ironsally are my favorites.
Next would be my Hunter who is probably closest to being the real me, notice we never hear from her, lol.
Poor Shaman had fallen out of favor and the Death Knight never had it, then there's the Disc Priest who I thought could be a contender and the ...
See, like Lay's potato chips (sorry I mentioned food) it's hard to choose just one!
DeleteOoh I like this question. I will have a post up soon.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait!
DeleteI don't know if I can play with this one. I only have one toon.
ReplyDeleteAu contraire, Pierre, you of all should write something quick about your affinity of your class - you are an authority on this!
DeleteGood topic, I've posted my answer -- I have a ton of toons but fav's weren't hard to find -- my druid, hunter, and mage =)
ReplyDeleteGreat post - thank you!
