There might be bears...

Ulysses Everett McGill: Well, ain't this place a geographical oddity. Two weeks from everywhere!

Have yak, will travel...

Very soon I shall be traveling across new terrain and territories to witness natural wonders and geographical oddities: I haven't done any travel in a wolf pack-cadre in over four years, far too long. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, like the family road trip to give perspective. In preparation for this grand journey (believe my crossing of the threshold moment shall come right about Spokane...), I decided I could take two companions with me, at least in pixelized spirit; the question is, who?

Considerations: There will be bad food, bear mace, astronomy, small car, large people. And relatives.

Best Trinket Ever: Bad Juju - oh I am definitely packing these girls!

Candidates:

Mr. Snerggguls noticed a typo: it's HOW to play opossum, not hot opossum
Well, since I don't need anything discovered under a bridge, and don't want to get in trouble with the law, the clear choice is gnome, and backing up would be dwarf. Now if you're offended that I am not bringing your race along for the ride, don't be. A Blood Elf would rock the beaches of Maui, and you'd better believe I would bring a troll to where there are lot of bridges. Now if I could get a gnome rogue to protect me in case of bear attack, that would be stellar! Put some of that bear mace on daggers, and make sure the oil is changed...hero time!

Theme songs:

The Passenger/Iggy Pop
Wild Rover/The Dubliners

Who would you take??

  1. Whoa there now little missy. Us Dwarven don't cotton to anyone making fun of our beards. We don't get "nits" or "fleas" or ""gumdrops" or "yesterday's gravy" or even our haggis in our beards that might drop into the tater salad. I know this is "nit picking", but I want you to completely understand that is the Runescape Dwarf you are complaining about and not the WOW Dwarf. We have couth, yes, we do.

  2. That's hard, I think I'd have to go with a Night Elf and a Draenei. The Night Elf would know which herbs and berries would be safe for picking and the Draenei could do all the communicating since that's not my thing.

I'm still scared about the bear mace though.

    1. I have a hunch that the bear mace is like a totem or talismen - won't need it if I have it? Sure.....

  3. For travel, Fozzie is a Druid in Bear Form and can send other bears fleeing in fear of old jokes. No worries about bear attacks! He might have trouble with the Park Rangers.

  4. I think I'd have to agree with your choice of Gnome & Dwarf (assuming you don't want any trouble). But, I do think taking a Goblin and Night Elf could make for some pretty amusing (if slightly illegal) situations!

  5. Gnome all the way, especially as you can get two or three Gnomes in the same space as it would take for say a Draenei or a Night Elf. Plus I bet pink hair scares off bears.

    1. The clear choice is gnome: I have informed one small gnome rogue to pack his poisons and get in the glove compartment.
